Tube Number 1 teams the hot Doo Wop vocals of "The Aquatones" with colorized pics of the group and scenes from "American Graffiti".
"She's The One For Me" is the flipside of The Aquatones 1958 hit, "You". But, to our youthful ears, this side should have gotten the push.
You can hear traces of Frankie Avalon's "Dee Dee Dinah" in the lead vocal, and the harmonies are positively hypnotic. The bassman steps up to deliver a lead on the bridge, which is just a notch below "Surfin' Bird" in its intensity.
