アメリカ合衆国国歌「星条旗」です。
音源は91年の湾岸戦争時にホイットニー・ヒューストンが歌ったものです。
歌詞(この音源は1番のみ)
1.O say, can you see,
by the dawn's early light,
What so proudly we hailed
at the twilight's last gleaming?
Whose broad stripes and bright stars,
through the perilous fight,
O'er the ramparts we watched,
were so gallantly streaming!
And the rockets' red glare,
the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof through the night
that our flag was still there:
O say, does that star-spangled
banner yet wave
O'er the land of the free
and the home of the brave?
2.On the shore, dimly seen
through the mists of the deep,
Where the foe's haughty host
in dread silence reposes,
What is that which the breeze,
o'er the towering steep,
As it fitfully blows,
half conceals, half discloses?
Now it catches the gleam
of the morning's first beam,
In full glory reflected
now shines on the stream:
'Tis the star-spangled banner!
O long may it wave
O'er the land of the free
and the home of the brave!
3.And where is that band
who so vauntingly swore
That the havoc of war
and the battle's confusion
A home and a country
should leave us no more?
Their blood has washed out
their foul footsteps' pollution.
No refuge could save
the hireling and slave
From the terror of flight,
or the gloom of the grave:
And the star-spangled banner
in triumph doth wave
O'er the land of the free
and the home of the brave!
4.O thus be it ever,
when freemen shall stand
Between their loved home
and the war's desolation!
Blest with victory and peace,
may the Heaven-rescued land
Praise the Power that hath made
and preserved us a nation.
Then conquer we must,
when our cause it is just,
And this be our motto:
"In God is our trust."
And the star-spangled banner
in triumph shall wave
O'er the land of the free
and the home of the brave!
These guys really burn the house.
I simply love this song and the lyrics, written by Tom T. Hall.
This song became one of Shirley's biggest hit (#8 in 1965), and she also scored with "The Nitty Gritty" and "The Name Game". The correct title of this song is "The Clapping Song (Clap Pat Clap Slap)".
You really enjoyed "The Clapping Song", so here we go again!

Chris Young wins the 2006 Nashville Star Competiton at age 21, on the USA Network. Chris played at high school and college dances before winning the Nashville Star competition. There's a good chance his fee just went up.

Sarah Johns - Big Love in a Small Town
Never moved to the big 'ol city
Like a lot friends I know
Had my eye on something closer
Not far down the road
Bucking hay on a flatbed chevy
Green eyes and a working tan
Just a few short years together
And we ain't doing bad
We got a diesel dually

20 acres out in the boonies
Smack dab in middle is a little house
Raising beans and babies
What more could you want for what you've found
Big love
In a small town
Sittin' out on the porch in the evening'
Sippin' on sweet ice tea
Downtown glowin' in the distance
How good could it be
If all they got is a high rise penthouse
Livin' 40 stories up
Champagne in the back of a limo

We ain't missing much
We got a diesel dually
20 acres out in the boonies
Smack dab in middle is a little house
Raising beans and babies
What more could you want for what you've found
Big love
In a small town
We got a diesel dually
20 acres out in the boonies
Smack dab in middle is a little house
We're raising beans and babies
What more could you want for what you've found
Big love
In a small town
Rickiejoleen was a precocious youth when she traded her normal childhood for the chance to become serious about country music. But at such a young age, no musician would take her seriously. That's when she picked up her guitar and said, "If no one wants to help me, I'll learn to play by myself and come up with my own shows."
Rickiejoleen would call bars and restaurants and ask if she could play at their establishment. Most venues wouldn't ask her age, so she could get away with it. At 18, she now teeters daringly between the life of a hometown recording artist and that of Nashville legitimacy.
Rickiejoleen has a refreshing voice that oozes talent, with a slight twang and vibrato to envy. She takes to the stage with confidence, and spunk. Often arching her back with the guitar held high in the air. Try to mesh country, blues and rock, and you'll have an inkling of this young lady's panache.
The artist's style and youth are alluring -- you may be tempted to say she's just a kid, but self-managing her career from takeoff is no easy task. She has been working the local music scene for the past eight years and now has an impressive list of venues she performs at.
"Although I have given up much of my childhood, I wouldn't change a thing," says Rickiejoleen. "I have seen and accomplished more than some people only dream of. It can be tough but it's worth every second."

Meg Allison is a born storyteller and performer. Biding her time between Chicago and Nashville, she is paying her dues as an emerging acoustic artist, touring and honing her craft. Meg's writing has the honesty of country and the catchiness of pop. She writes the melodies that stick, with the lyrics you've lived.
Now with the release of her debut album, "Missing Piece", it appears that Meg is finally being discovered. The album produced by Chris Keup (Jason Mraz, Jonathan Rice) and Stewart Myers (Shawn Colvin, Lifehouse, Rachel Yamagata) has been earning critical praise and her song "Old Soul" recently won Songwriters Universe's "Best Song" competition. She has also showcased at two National Association for Campus Activities (NACA) conferences in front of thousands of students. Fans from New York to Los Angeles and from Omaha to Austin are discovering this rising talent, making a home for Meg Allison on their iPods.
