The ultimate Tex-Mex cowboy, Gabe left San Antonio and his job of 10 years after his father passed away last October. He's now following his dream and he's not turning back. With his family's support, Gabe wants to be the next "Nashville Star" with his mother cheering him on from the audience.
The sixth season of Nashville Star, the annual reality show and singing competition, begins on June 9, 2008 and will be broadcast on NBC from 9pm/8pm CST. Billy Ray Cyrus hosts the show starting this year with John Rich, Jewel and Jeffrey Steele as judges.

She's worked on a hog farm, and is a mechanic and a volunteer firefighter, but this girl really just wants to be on a stage.
