With 6 left one would have to leave...and it wasn't Syesha. Although she was part of the bottom two Carly was eliminated. There was only a bottom two and they had both of them perform so that's the reason for this video.

This video starts off with the results between Carly and Jason. Jason is safe and Carly faces elimination with Syesha in the bottom two. Then Carly performs Superstar from the production Jesus Christ Superstar. And then the video goes into the results between Syesha and Carly, ending in Carly's elimination and then Carly's American Idol last look video and ends with some words from Simon.
Supposedly because there is such a big fan base this season in American Idol not being eliminated depends entirely on popularity and not what the show is suppose to be about...PERFORMANCE. Although every single person has talent and I am not putting any of them down based on performance Carly wasn't suppose to have gone home. But she'll probably get record labels at her doorstep by tomorrow. No biggie!
