Joe Ely & The Crickets perform the Buddy Holly song "Not Fade Away". This performance was during the "Tribute to Buddy Holly" show that included other artist like John Fogerty, Carl Perkins, Marshall Crenshaw and Brian Setzer, to name just a few. This video comes from a VHS TV recording from the PBS Special in 1988.
Released on the Coral label in 1957. Although most people would consider this to be by Buddy Holly, at the time he was the uncredited singer of The Crickets, and his name does not appear on the label. This song was, of course, covered by The Rolling Stones in 1964 and became their first UK top 10 hit.

Brian Setzer visited a small vintage guitar shop of Japan in 1992 with Rich Modica who was the guitar tech of Brian Setzer. This live was performed there at the time. The guitar and the amp were prepared by the shop, so this guitar is not his guitar. Brian Setzer performed only for just several customers who were there for nothing. He seldom does such a thing now, so this is a very rare and precious clip. This song was covered and recorded in the album of "ORIGINAL COOL" in 1993, so it seems that he has liked this song very much.
Other renditions at the time were posted also, so check them.
